A gorilla trekking permit is an essential requirement for every tourist who feels like taking part in a gorilla trekking experience. This will help you protect yourself from rain and warm you up during the cold weather.

Hiking shoes, since the gorilla trekking experience, involves hiking up and sloping down the slippery terrain, scandals are not suitable for this activity and you need high quality and waterproof shoes which will help you move through these slippery trails which are muddy always, especially during the rainy season.

Clothing to pack while coming for gorilla trekking should be long-sleeved shirts and long pants to protect you from dangerous plants like stinging nettles. Short pants are not recommended because you will be passing through thick forests with thorns and they are likely to hunt your soft bodies.

Energy-giving snacks are also highly recommended because trekking gorillas involves hiking for long hours and you need to be having these snacks to give you more energy that will help you maneuver through all the hikes during the whole experience.
