You will start in Kibale National Park, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and finish in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
During this safari, you will track chimpanzees, enjoy game drives and a boat cruise, and take part in mountain gorilla trekking in southwestern Uganda. The trip begins in Kampala and ends in Entebbe or Kampala.
Day 1: From Kampala to Kibale National Park and Bigodi Wetland Walk
Meet your Uganda driver guide in Kampala and begin the drive to Kibale National Park in western Uganda. The journey takes about five to six hours, passing through Mityana, Mubende, and Fort Portal. Have lunch in Fort Portal town or at your lodge near the park.
In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. The walk takes about two hours and supports community tourism. During the walk, you may see birds such as Great Blue Turacos and other forest birds. You may also see primates like red-tailed monkeys, olive baboons, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and black and white colobus monkeys. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
